Ironmen Claim Eastern Canadian Title!
The Ironmen traveled to Montréal to play McGill for the Eastern Canadian Championship over the weekend. The game was a nail bitter, however on the foot of Ryan Vokey, and the physicality of a well oiled Ironmen squad, the boys pulled out the victory 20 – 19!
Ironmen defeat St.Fx. to take Maritime Championship!
The Ironmen fought a tough battle against St.Fx for the Maritime Championship Title. Both squads came out to play physical, and that is exactly what happened. The Ironmen took an early lead, but the X-men clawed their way back to within a few points. The Ironmen stuck together however and pulled through at the final whistle 34 – 24!
Ironmen defeat Mt.A to take provincial title!
The Ironmen defeated Mt.A in convincing style to capture the NB/PEI Provincial B Championship! Both squads showed up to play hard, but the Ironmen got the upper hand early. The Ironmen played physical and capitalized on their chances to come out on top 43 – 12!
Ironmen finish regular season with a strong showing!
The Ironmen came out to play their final game against STU at college Field Saturday. a season of work and practice showed as the Ironmen made some great decisions, and played as a whole, not individuals. The final score reflected the work ethic and determination of our squad. The final whistle saw the Ironmen 30, STU 12.
Ironmen come out on top against Mount Allison
The Ironmen fought a hard battle against Mount Allison on Saturday. Both teams played well in what turned into a back and forth game. The lead changed hands a few times, before the Ironmen pulled ahead. The final score saw the Ironmen on top 36 – 21.
Ironmen pull ahead of UPEI in rematch
The Ironmen came out to plat Sunday, with a great showing of physical grit and determination. Both sides had to deal with the less than favorable conditions, however both teams were able to keep it together. The Ironmen were able to out muscle their opponents, and come away with a victory of 27 – 6.
Ironmen run up the score against St. Thomas
The Ironmen B-side ran up the score against St. Thomas. The men found the gaps, and attcked them full force, seeing the score reflect their efforts. It would have been a blank sheet for St. Thomas, except for a great last second effort by their center to get the ball over the line. The final score saw the Ironmen on top 78 – 7.
B-side wins in spectacular fashion!
The Ironmen B-side came out hard against Mount Allison, with a talented young squad. Although their game didn’t start until the later hours of the evening, the Ironmen seemed primed and ready to go. The final score saw the Ironmen 78 – Mount Allison 0.

B-side pulls even with UPEI
The B-side Ironmen fought hard against a physical UPEI second side Saturday. Both sides saw plenty of ball possession, and set pieces. Boasting many new players, the Ironmen came together as a single unit, and played with heart to post a 17 – 17 draw with UPEI. There were many great things for the second side to build on for their next game in Sackville!
