Below you can find the registration form for the tournament. We need to to print it off, fill it out, and either scan it then send it back, or give it to David Misener personally. The DEADLINE for these forms is February 1st, 2012.

UNB Ironmen RFC Alumni,
On behalf of the 2011 Ironmen, I want to thank you for your help in making our trip to Montreal this November a success. Many of the club members were only able to make the trip due to costs relieved by your donations. The Ironmen were well informed of your help and they greatly appreciate it.

As you know, the 2011 Ironmen had a very successful year claiming both A and B division Maritime Championship Titles. The Unofficial Eastern Canadian Championship game against McGill on November 12th saw an unfortunate loss. The Redmen retained possession and stole ball which saw the Ironmen on defense for most the game. The B side played a very impressive game, making for a perfect season by defeating the Redmen Club side 20-19. A few guys did double duty playing both games while the rest of the A side cheered on and supported the future Ironmen. Despite the loss in the first game, we were a very proud club of what was had accomplished.

I just want to extend my thanks to you on behalf of the club for your support. I know how you have helped in the past. The 2011 Ironmen saw this year how you helped now. And they appreciate that your support is there for the future.
Upon graduating this May of 2012, I know not of where I will be. But you can count on me being at the 2013 reunion. Let me know if I can help out with any organizing plans. I’d like to see Fernandez as a Reunion sponsor.

Continue reading »]]> The Ironmen traveled to Montreal over the weekend to play host McGill for the Eastern Canadian Championships. Both squads fought hard, but after the first match, the Ironmen A-side came out with a devastating defeat. The B-side however ramped up there game and made it known they had something to prove. Ryan Vokey kicked 15 points in the 20 – 19 win over McGill, including the final penalty kick to seal the game! Overall the Ironmen put fourth an excellent showing and made the club and province proud!

Continue reading »]]> The Ironmen fought two very tough battles over the weekend to come out on top and defend the A-side Maritime Championship. Dal brought a tough squad and fought hard against our boys, but the will of the Ironmen took over and the final whistle saw the Ironmen on top 26-24! The B-side fought a tough battle against the St. Fx X-men as well. Both teams played exceptionally well, but once again our boys came out on top to claim the B-side Maritime Championship 34 – 24! Congratulations to both squads!
