The Ringarangaroo Anti Golf Classic, or is that Anti Classic Golf, will be held Friday June 8, 2012 at 12:30 pm. There will be a Canadian International game at BMO field on the Saturday following. We welcome all former alumni and friends to join us.

Every year on a Friday at the beginning of June the Ringarangaroo Anti-Classic is held in Toronto. This event helps to raise money towards the Toks Akpata Scholarship Fund for UNB Rugby. Over $60,000 has been raised towards this scholarship and other UNBRFC club activities. The golf is followed by a dinner, auction (including the very popular White Star raffle) and sing along… “The Ringarangaroo…pray what is that!”
The scholarship was formed to honour Toks Akpata who was the consummate “club man” and died of complications from injuries incurred on the pitch. Each year a scholarship is awarded to a UNB Ironmen who possesses the qualities and leadership of the ideal teammate.
